2026-01-14

Tianan New Materials has been awarded the Third Prize in the Guangdong Light Industry Science and Technology Progress Awards for its project, “Development of Environmentally Friendly Polypropylene Thermoforming Materials via Blending Modification and Radiation Cross-Linking Technology.” The recognition highlights Tianan New Materials’ leadership in polymer innovation and sustainable materials.

Addressing Industry Challenges through Innovation

Traditional polypropylene thermoforming materials face limitations such as narrow processing windows, low melt strength, and insufficient environmental performance. Tianan New Materials addressed these challenges by combining blending modification with radiation cross-linking technology, creating a three-dimensional network structure at room temperature without chemical cross-linking agents or residual impurities. Optimized formulations improve heat resistance and mechanical strength, producing lightweight, durable, and eco-friendly materials suitable for food packaging, automotive interiors, and electronic protection.
